PKR 1.59 billion collected under Dam Fund

Islamabad: PKR 1.59 billion has been collected under Supreme Court Diamer Bhasha-Mohmand Dam Fund, a news source reported. Pakistanis residing in America sent PKR 4.3 million, PKR 1.2 million came from Britain, PKR 0.8 million from UAE, PKR 1.5 million from Germany, and PKR 0.6 million from Bahrain. Even people from India contributed a total of PKR 18,400 to the fund. Pakistanis residing within the country donated PKR 1.32 billion. PKR 57.1 million has also been collected through the SMS service from various mobile companies.
