CDA seals illegally constructed buildings in sector B-17

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) sealed illegally constructed buildings in sector B-17, according to a news source. The operation was carried out on the instructions of CDA Chairman and Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz. During this operation, the CDA sealed Capital Square, Rahat Mall, Makkah Heights, and Zaka Mall. The operation was carried out by the officers of CDA Building Control II, Enforcement Directorate, CDA Magistrate and other concerned departments. Aziz told the media that before carrying out the operation, the owners of illegally constructed and unapproved buildings were not only sent notices, but warnings were also issued through print media. He also said the operation will continue against owners of buildings not abiding by the CDA for buildings in the city.
